BHOLA (2023)
Ajay Devgn will direct and co-produce the 2023 Indian action-adventure film Bholaa, which will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, Ajay Devgn FFilms, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series Films. Devgn stars in the title role, along with Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao, and Vineet Kumar. Amala Paul, Abhishek Bachchan, and Raai Laxmi also make special appearances in this remake of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi. In exchange for meeting his daughter after ten years behind bars.
Head photography occurred from January 2022 to January 2023 in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Varanasi. Ravi Basrur composed the soundtrack for the movie and soundtrack album. Raunak, an undercover officer, has joined Ashwathama, also known as Ashu, the Sikka Gang's co-leader. Raunak tells Diana about Ashu, and Ashu asks a corrupt NCB officer, Devraj Subramaniam, for help. Subramaniam tells another corrupt officer, Deep Singh, to add rohypnol to drinks made for police officers at the IG Jayant Malik's farewell party. Despite Diana's refusal, everyone else passes out.
Joseph tries to persuade a prisoner by the name of Bholaa to drive a truck that will take the sedated officers to the hospital and then to the Laalganj police station. Various gangs attack Joseph, Bholaa, and sidekick Kadchi as they drive. Deep Singh, a crook who has camped out with the sedated police officers, updates them on where he is. When Ashu and his gang arrive, they attempt to break into the police station, which Yadav and some students have blocked off. Joseph is almost deceived into granting the prisoners' release, but she realizes that Nithari set the trap. Ashu is able to enter the building, but Yadav and the students are able to apprehend him. Yadav kills Ashu out of rage after the student Chetan is strangled to death with a lasso through a window by Ashu's gang. Joseph makes contact with medical personnel to dispatch an emergency ambulance to a Lord Shiva temple. Bholaa tells Kadchi about his past while they wait: he was a famous criminal in Uttar Pradesh and fell head over heels for a specialist named Swara, who responded his adoration after he saved her from being physically attacked. Before their marriage, Bholaa surrendered his criminal life, yet Swara was killed by a heartless posse pioneer known as Chomu. Swara gave birth to their daughter, Jyoti, before she passed away; however, Bholaa separated from her after receiving a lengthy prison sentence. Joseph tells her story about the time she was pregnant and lost her unborn child.
After the officers are taken to the hospital in an ambulance, Ashu's big henchman Bhoora also shows up. Deep Singh stabs Bholaa before he can fight, causing him severe injuries. Abbas is found to be the mole, and he is killed while Jospeh and Kadchi are taken away. After a while, Bholaa regains consciousness and uses the Trident of Lord Shiva to kill the entire gang, including Deep Singh. Following this, he pursues Bhoraa and rescues Joseph.
Bholaa, Kadchi, and Diana arrive at the Laalganj police station through a secret passage after driving all night, assisting the students and Yadav in their safe escape. Joseph consumes the cocaine and after Ashu's built up pack at long last penetrates station, Bholaa obliterates them all utilizing a M134 Minigun. After that, Devraj Subramaniam commits suicide after realizing that Bholaa was to blame for everything, and Nithari passes away from shock shortly after. Bholaa and his daughter Jyoti are reunited, and they leave together in a truck with Kadchi and a puppy. In a scene in the middle of the credits, Chomu Singh finds out about Bholaa's release and decides to kill him.
