FAST X (2023)
Fast X (otherwise called FAST AND FURIOUS 10) is a 2023 American activity movie coordinated by Louis Leterrier from a screenplay composed by Dan Mazeau and Justin Lin, who likewise co-composed the story with Zach Dignitary. Dom and Letty follow the team as Dante locks them up in a bomb-laden truck in Rome. Dom pushes the bomb into the Tiber River after it is released through the streets to minimize damage. After Letty is taken into custody, Agent Aimes, who has been the de facto leader of the Agency ever since Mr. Nobody vanished,[c] believes that Dom and his group are to blame for the bombing and launches a manhunt with a bounty of a multimillion dollar amount.
Little B was being cared for by Dom's sister Mia when an armed team arrives in Los Angeles to take him. After the team is defeated, Little B is taken to a secret location in Portugal by Dom's brother Jakob, where they will await Dom. Mr. No one's little girl, Tess, is persuaded of the group's guiltlessness and utilizations God's Eye[d] to track down Dom in Naples, illuminating him that Dante is in Rio de Janeiro. Dom faces Dante and consents to a race, where they are joined by Dom's companion Diogo and Isabel Neves, the sister of Little B's late mother Elena.[e] During the race, Dante lets Dom know that he established bombs in Diogo and Isabel's vehicles. In London, the remainder of Dom's group find their ledgers have been depleted, so they use cash concealed by Roman Pearce to talk with Ramsey's partner Bowie to gain supplies. However, Bowie informs law enforcement of their arrival for the bounty, prompting the team to seek assistance from Deckard Shaw. At first hesitant, Deckard consents to help them in the wake of learning his mom Queenie is likewise an outlaw for aiding Dom. Dom is located and apprehended by Aimes, but Dante's mercenaries ambush his team. To fight them, Aimes teams up with Dom, but Dante reveals that he has taken Isabel hostage. While Dante steals the God's Eye and locates Little B in Portugal, Tess is wounded by a sniper. Dom saves Isabel as Dante runs away. Aimes agrees to assist Dom in bringing Dante down, and Isabel promises to take Tess to a hospital. Also informed, Dom's team travels to Portugal.
In the interim, Dante figures out how to capture Little B and orders his hired fighters to stop Dom and Jakob. Dom is able to save his son after Jakob sacrifices himself in an explosive crash, eliminating all of the mercenaries. Showing up at a close by dam, Dante boxes them between two robot worked semi-trailers and gets ready to squash them, while Aimes is uncovered to be a twofold specialist working for Dante and destroys the plane containing Dom's group. Dante Reyes calls Luke Hobbs to inform Hobbs that he is the next target for the murder of his father in a scene halfway through the credits, as he and his agents storm a rundown theater.
Prior to production, Vin Diesel stated, "I was asked, 'Would there ever be a Fast where you could film in Italy?'" Diesel confirmed in an April 2021 press conference that the film would be split in two, stating, "There's so much ground to cover and so many places in so many locations that we have to visit" as the rationale behind the decision for a two-part finale.[46] Prior to production, Diesel stated, "I was asked, 'Would there and I [promised] we would"[47] Although Morgan did not ultimately return as a screenwriter, it was confirmed that he would serve as an executive producer alongside David Cain, Amanda Lewis, Mark Bomback, and Joseph M. Caracciolo, Jr.
Lin and Dan Mazeau completed a new draft of the screenplay by April 2022.[49] On June 5, 2022, Tyrese Gibson announced that Fast X would see the franchise "going back to its roots," with reports indicating this would be a return to street racing elements of previous entries.[50] Although shared details revealed the film would also continue to explore the history of the Toretto family in a "similar" vein to F9;[51] Leterrier later revealed the film focuses He was carrying on with a quarter mile at a time [but] the stakes are genuine at this point. Depicting the film's retcon of Quick Five (2011), Leterrier said it was to "investigate the cost of equity", taking note of, "[We] Rashomon'ed [the fifth film] to encounter it through the eyes of Reyes, with Dom and Brian the hoodlums. Leterrier stated, "The snowball [of Dom's actions] has picked up speed and became an avalanche" and stated that Fast Five is his favorite film in the franchise.[30] Later, Leterrier revealed that he performed several uncredited rewrites to the entire screenplay on his initial travel to the set, stating that he lacked sleep for the first four days he worked on the film. During the film's initial limited time run, Leterrier said Quick X investigates the likely separation of family, noticing "individuals will have to take sides [and] partnerships should be made" compounded by "[the] war fermenting" between the characters, saying "there will be some colossal casualties".[57] He later affirmed the film will end on a cliffhanger,[58] and further indicated character passings, saying, "The magnificence of the finish of this establishment [is] understanding these characters will [not] live for eternity. Cowboys only gallop off into the sunset in Westerns. This is unique; the stakes even higher than they have been in the past"[59]. Michelle Rodriguez seemed to confirm this, saying, "You're going to feel so cheated in a way, but then so gratified and excited about what's to come." She was referring to the reactions of the audience to the ending. Following 23 years of [making films], it's truly extreme at this stage to stun me, and they got me good".[60] She emphasized this in a limited time interview with Collider for Prisons and Mythical beasts: Honor Among Criminals (2023), saying the ending[61] of Quick X would "[leave] individuals truly astounded and we're [going to] get open mouths toward the end. In [the] theater, I was like, 'Good gracious. We've done what?!
In a meeting with Collider, General Pictures maker Kelly McCormick expressed the effect of Coronavirus and the creation timetables of "our meddling tasks" (like Quick X and its continuation) created setbacks for fostering the spin-off of Quick and Enraged Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) [63] In order to film in Turin, the Film Commission Torino Piemonte, local authorities, and city councillors were required to execute a five-month planning schedule between September 2021 and January 2022.
