BLOODY DADDY (2023)
Ali Abbas Zafar, Siddharth–Garima, Aditya Basu, and Aditya Basu co-wrote the action thriller Bloody Daddy, which was released in 2023 and is directed by Zafar. Jio Studios also produced the film. Diana Penty, Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ronit Roy, Ankur Bhatia, and Vivan Bhatena are all in it. It is the Tamil remake of the 2011 French film Sleepless Night, which starred Kamal Haasan and was remade in Tamil as Thoongaa Vanam (2015).
Sumair Azad is a member of the NCB. He and his deputy Jagadish Prasad alias Jaggi broke up a drug deal in Gurugram. This led the drug lord Sikandar to kidnap Sumair's son Atharva in exchange for retrieving a bag of cocaine. Sumair Azad is Sumair's son. Sumair accepts to bring the bag to his club for the exchange after agreeing to retrieve it from the NCB headquarters. Sumair's demonstration of concealing the pack in the men's latrine is seen by his associate Aditi Rawat, who becomes dubious. Aditi informs her superior Sameer Singh that she believes Sumair is involved in drug smuggling and begins to pursue Sumair, removing the cocaine bag from the toilet in the process.
When Sumair came to know that Cocaine bag has misplaced then he planned to guve bag to Sikandar containing flour packets in the hope that his associates, including Hameed Shaikh, will not notice the difference. Sadly, Sikandar and Hameed decide to kill Sumair as soon as they discover that he had lied to them. Gotten between Sikandar's pack alongside Aditi and Sameer, Sumair faces Aditi and tells her that as opposed to her doubts, he has been working covert and had arranged the whole situation to uncover Sameer and Jaggi's contribution in drug sneaking for Sikandar.
After reading the messages on the phone, she realizes that Sumair had been telling the truth all along, realizing that Sameer and Jaggi are involved in drug smuggling and had attempted to frame Sumair. However Sameer attempts to oppose capture, killing Sikandar all the while, he is at last dealt with. While talking with Aditi about uncovering more street pharmacists, Atharva finds drug parcels in Sumair's vehicle, consequently uncovering that Sumair is likewise associated with drug carrying. Atharva stays silent about this, where he and Sumair leave for a little excursion.
